Where he came from he was poor,
but here, he was rich.
Yet his wealth remained the same.
Then he realised, it was all relative.

He wasn’t striving for more money, he just wanted more money than his neighbour.
This could be done either by making himself richer or making his neighbour poorer.
He had achieved the later by moving to a poor country.
The rub was guilt and envy.
The benefit was opportunity, choice and freedom.
